PURPOSE: To obtain the subject device, designed to house a basket, made of a metallic net, having a lid and containing a raw egg placed therein in a ceramic container containing water placed therein and capable of readily and stably preparing a half-boiled egg or a hot spring boiled egg with a microwave oven, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective device is constructed as follows. A basket 7, made of a metallic net, having a lid and containing a raw egg (E) placed therein is housed in a container (1M) composed of ceramic tableware such as pottery and the basket 7 having the lid is mostly covered with hot water placed in the container (1M). The aforementioned device is used to cook a half-boiled egg or a hot spring boiled egg by housing the raw egg (E) kept in the basket 7 in the container (1M), pouring water into the container (1M), then placing the egg with the container and all in a microwave oven and heating the eggs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
