PURPOSE:To input logical operation results of detected signals of multiple detecting sections to a light receiving section and reduce the installation space of the whole device by properly combining and arranging optical fibers and detecting sections connected to a light projecting section and the light receiving section. CONSTITUTION:The light from the light projecting section 11 of a photoelectric switch main body 10 to a light projecting optical fiber 21 is projected from tips of detecting sections 40 through separate optical fibers 22. The reflected light from an object M is again fed to the detecting section 40 and fed to the light receiving section 12 of the main body 10 through a light receiving optical fiber 32. When at least one of multiple detecting sections 40 detects the object M, the detected signal is inputted to the light receiving section 12 in OR connection.
