PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the cooling of a display element by generating a satisfactory air flow on the surface of the display element by providing a nozzle group arranged at the front plane of a large display panel at a prescribed interval, and blowing the air flow along the surface of the panel. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle unit 3 is provided at the right side of the large display panel 1, and a convergent nozzle 31 is provided between each hood 2 in the unit 3. And by supplying the air compressed by a blower 4 to the unit 3 through a duct 5, it is blown out from the nozzle 31 provided between each hood 2. In such a case, since the nozzle 31 is formed in convergent shape, so-called a jet nozzle, the blown out air can be generated as a fast jet stream exceeding, for example, 10m/sec. Therefore, it is possible to generate the satisfactory air flow on the surface of the element 11 arranged between the hood 2 by blowing the air flow between each hood 2, and to perform the cooling of the element 11 efficiently.
