PURPOSE: To correct a step difference between panels to be generated at the time of installing building panels. ;CONSTITUTION: A first absorbing pad 14 and a contact supporting plate 131 of a step difference correcting tool 50 are fixed to one of a pair of building panels, of which ends are engaged with each other and between which a step difference is generated. The contact supporting plate 131 is projected a little to the other panel side. A second absorbing pad 15 absorbs the other panel for fixation, and a handle 17 is operated so as to pull up the other panel to the same height with the contact supporting plate 131. A telescopic part 19 is telescoped so as to move the other panel in the arrow direction. Both the panels are thereby accurately engaged with each other. After engaging both ends of the panels, operation is concluded, and the ends of the panels are fixed by a tapping screw or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
