Speed-Torque Characteristics Adjustment Method of Switched Reluctance Motor

The Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) has superior operating characteristics compared to conventional AC motors, and its application as a variable-speed drive source is being examined variously. However, the SRM has a high speed variation rate because the speed-torque characteristic is a direct current characteristic, and it is difficult to operate at a variable speed. In this proposal, we propose a method that can actively adjust the speed-torque characteristics of the SRM to match the load characteristics.
