The rubber and metal elements (2) are installed with the aid of a claw-type pre-tensioning shoe (3) which, with the same thickness as the roller frame and roller tire connection (4), is offset by the thickness of the element but without the pre-tension conditions. Thus the frame connection amounts to 2H + S as against the shoe which is straight. The shoe is fitted to the vibrating part of the roller. Additionally, nuts (5) are unscrewed to release the tension for shoe etc. release.
