Microcomputer resetting device for microcomputer in local area network

The microcomputer resetting device uses a counter (24) indexed by clock generator pulses, providing a signal when a given count value is reached, controlling a resetting circuit (25) for the clock-controlled microcomputer (31). A flank detector (17) detects the signal flanks of the clock generator pulses for providing resetting pulses for the counter. An Independent claim for a microcomputer resetting method is also included.
