FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: eddy-current pickup for nondestructive testing of hole and tube bonding has axially symmetric framework extended along symmetry axis and winding in the form of spiral extended along framework axis. Framework is hollow one with relation of outer D and inner d lateral dimensions within interval 1,4D/d1,6. Winding is located on inner surface of framework. Internal space of framework can be filled with magneto-conductive material. Mounting of central rod with narrowing end cap is also possible. Manufacturing process involves fabrication of flat development of framework, formation of winding on flat flexible dielectric backing, laying of backing over flat development of framework and putting of framework into needed shape. EFFECT: increased strength of pickup and prevention of mechanical injury of winding without growth of lateral dimension of pickup. 8 cl, 5 dwg
