PURPOSE:To obtain a new expression plasmid capable of producing a remarkable amount of a maltotetraose-producing enzyme. CONSTITUTION:The subject plasmid is an expression plasmid capable of producing a maltotetraose-producing enzyme, in which a DNA containing the maltotetraose-producing enzyme is connected to a vector fragment containing a highly protein secretory expression gene, e.g. plasmid pHSD01.
