PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovering method of valuable metals containing copper from a waste printed circuit board capable of suppressing running cost to a minimum without executing considerable plant investment and a system for the recovery of valuable metals containing copper and the separation of slag component. SOLUTION: The waste printed circuit board is pulverized and blown into a powder burner 10 of a melting refining furnace 30 heated to 1,300-1,600 deg.C with combustion air, retained for about 0.5-6 sec to be combusted and to melt non-combustible components contained in the waste printed circuit board, and introduced into the melt refining furnace from the bottom of a combustion chamber to separate metals or mat/slag and to recover metals or the mat.
