PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the synchronization device for a chaos system for synchronizing the main chaos device and subordinate chaos device of the same constitution for generating chaos signals by respectively impressing external signals provided with noise or chaos characteristics to the main chaos device and the subordinate chaos device as control signals and a privacy communication system using it. ;SOLUTION: This synchronization device synchronizes a main chaos device 30 and a subordinate chaos device 40, by respectively impressing the external signals provided with the noise or the chaos characteristics to the at least one state variable of the main chaos device 30 and the state variable of the subordinate chaos device 40 corresponding to it, modulating them and feeding them back to the main chaos device 30 and the subordinate chaos device 40. The mutually corresponding respective state variables of the main chaos device 30 and the subordinate chaos device 40 are synchronized by matching time spatial change with each other, and at this time, the chaos signals of the main chaos device 30 and the subordinate chaos device 40 form unique time space attraction which is completely different from chaos attraction initially provided in the chaos device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
