PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic power-off device and network printer which automatically detect that tasks of all computers using the objective network printer are completed and turn off the power source of the network printer.;SOLUTION: This system has a task monitor which monitors whether or not the tasks of all network devices using the network printer 1 to be power off end and outputs a task end signal when the end of the tasks of all the network devices is detected, a power-off part 9 which performs ON/OFF control over the power source part 10 of the network printer 1, and a control part 7 which instructs the power-off part 9 to perform OFF control over the power source part 10 of the network printer 1 when receiving the task end signal and cuts off the power supply to the network printer 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
