PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently allocate a software module to an electronic equipment abundant in resource capacity and to allow the equipment to have the module in a network to which plural pieces of electronic equipment are connected. ;SOLUTION: In a network to which plural pieces of electronic equipment 11-16 are connected, the electronic equipment 13 being a leader inquires of the electronic equipment 11 and 14 being controllers about the resource capacity and inquires of the electronic equipment 12, 13, 15 and 16 about the size of device control module(DCM) of each of the equipment. The electronic equipment 13 calculates the memory capacity of the electronic equipment 11 and 14 to which DCM can be allocated and the sizes of DCM of each of the electronic equipment, discriminates whether DCM of each of the electronic equipment can be allocated to the electronic equipment 11 and 14, and to the electronic equipment 11 and 14, allocates the DCM which can be possessed by the equipment 11 and 14 respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
