REMOTE DIAGNOZING METHOD AND REMOTE DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM APPLYING SAME METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze general abnormality of a photographic process by sending various diagnostic images specifying image trouble occurring in a photographic processor to a remote information management center and analyzing the cause of the trouble. ;SOLUTION: Relating to a minilaboratory (A) 20a, when abnormality of an output image from a printer is found, images whose process paths are variously changed by using, for example, what is called an 'ocellate exposed negative film' as a reference chart film are generated and data of the generated images is sent to a support center 10 if an operator in charge can not find the cause of the abnormality. Relating to the support center 10, a veteran serviceman examines the received image data by using a diagnostic processor 11 and analyzes the images data whose process paths are variously changed to point out inspection and repair places of the photographic processor and give advice about a repairing method. Consequently, the abnormality of the minilaboratory can speedily be analyzed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
