PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the temperature rising of the solenoid of a solenoid selector valve caused by energization during a period when the solenoid selector valve exists in an operating position by controlling the solenoid so that the solenoid selector valve can be retained in the operating position based on a set current-carrying duty to the solenoid. ;SOLUTION: If the driving of a solenoid selector valve SB is required, supply voltage Vs is read, and current-carrying duty Dy supplied to the solenoid of the solenoid selector valve SB is calculated according to this supply voltage Vs (steps 403, 404). Next, it is judged whether or not it is within a predetermined time T1 after starting of driving (current-carrying) of the solenoid selector valve SB (step 405). If it is within the predetermined time T1, and if it is passed more than the predetermined time T1 after the current-carrying duty Dy is changed to about 100%, a driving signal is outputted and the solenoid of the solenoid selector valve SB is driven at the degree of such a period Ts that the solenoid can be retained in the current-carrying duty Dy and the operating position (steps 406, 407).
