BOUNDARY BLOCK COVERED WITH WOOD BETWEEN SIDEWALK AND ROADWAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decay resulting from frost damage or the like in a cold district by covering the upper face and both side faces or the upper face and one side face of a boundary block body between a sidewalk and a roadway, with a wooden material. ;SOLUTION: The upper face and both side faces of a concrete boundary block body 1 between a sidewalk and a roadway is covered with an inverted U-shaped wooden material 2, or the upper face and the roadway side face is covered with an inverted L-shaped wooden material when the sidewalk part is as higher as the height of the boundary block than the roadway part. An arbitrary number of fixing screws 3 are used for fixing the wooden material 2. Accordingly a buffer action works against shocks by covering the concrete block body 1 with wood, and also it is usefull for preventing decay resulting from frost damage by a reasonable heat insulation effect in a cold district.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
