CATHODE STRUCTURE TO BE USED IN ELECTRON GUN FOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE AND ELECTRON GUN FOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode structure which prevents cracking on junction glass when the cathode structure is manufactured and is used in an electron gun for cathode-ray tube with high reliability. ;SOLUTION: In a cathode structure 1 to be used in an electron gun for cathode-ray tube to be mounted on a TV receiver and a terminal display device, zinc-borosilicate crystallized glass is used as junction glass 20 joining a metallic member 30 constituting the cathode structure 1 to a ceramic substrate 10. It is desirable that a difference of an average coefficient of thermal expansion at an ordinary temperature to 500°C between the ceramic substrate 10 and the metallic member 30 is within 20% of the average coefficient of thermal expansion of the metallic member 30.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
