PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply eliminate asthenopia due to a headache, crapulence, driving a car and the use of OA apparatus by manufacturing an eye mask of native rock, or knitting particles with a yarn to manufacture the eye mask. ;SOLUTION: A large nephelite is cut into small pieces, which are polished into small spheres by a mortar-like polishing machine to form nephelite balls 1. Many nephelite balls 1 are arranged, and the balls 1 are connected to each other with a bead 3 interposed between the balls by a yarn 2, thereby knitting an eye mask of such a size as to fit to an effective spot of the eye. Thus, the eye can be surely cooled by effectively using the original heat absorbing power of the native rock to eliminate asthenopia. Accordingly, the eye mask is placed on a desk or put in a bag to be carried, and on feeling that the eyes are tired, the eye mask is applied to the eye part for a few minutes to simply eliminate asthenopia. Further, by pressing only one ball applied to the effective spot of the eye part, the effect of eliminating the asthenopia can be further improved, besides the eye mask can be useful for preventing short sight.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
