PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marina capable of planning the installation in an inland part in close proximity to the open sea such as sea, lake, river, etc., being constructed by designing its scale more freely than conventional marina construction which is planned on the coast of the open sea, reducing its cost even if an amount of digged earth is large because it is not digging in the water, saving fishery compensation by far without causing an infringement of fishery right such as reclaiming the open sea, natural purifying water due to the fluctuation of tide level by providing a water channel communication with the open sea, and reducing maintenance cost.;SOLUTION: When a marina is constructed by conducting opencut of an inland part, a water level in this marina is the same as a water level of the open sea to omit waterproofing construction in its surroundings and a bottom part, and a water channel 23 communicating with the open sea allows the navigation of a ship and enable the natural purification of water quality to eliminate lifting and lowering facility and pumping purification facility. A breakwater is installed as required in a part when the water channel faces the open sea to ensure the safety in the navigation of a ship and prevent the deposit of earth and sand on a sea bottom.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
