THREE DIMENSIONAL LADER DEVIDE AND METHOD OF DISPLAYING THREE DIMENSIONAL LADER PICTURE

PURPOSE: A three dimensional radar device is provided to recognize a target observed by the radar as a three dimensional and realistic shape. CONSTITUTION: The radar device comprises: (a)a radar transmitter-receiver unit containing a transmitter-receiver and a scan converter, (b)a three dimensional polygonizer, and (c)a three dimensional graphic processor. In the radar device, the transmitter-receiver regenerates a signal related to direction, distance and receiving intensity information. The scan converter converts the signal related to direction, distance and receiving intensity information to two dimensional picture data composed of orthogonal coordinate and contrast information. The two dimensional picture data is inputted to the three dimensional polygonizer and is proceeded to a polygonized information. A three dimensional picture data is made in the three dimensional graphic processor in basis of the polygonized information and accumulated in a frame memory. A three dimensional radar picture is displayed on a screen.
