PURPOSE: An electronic trade system and method are provided to stipulate electronic trade by providing sellers and customers with information such as a market condition, previous contract price, highest purchasing price, lowest selling price, etc. and allowing the sellers and customers to change their asking prices. CONSTITUTION: In the electronic trade system and method, the electronic trade system posts a web page containing a table including a customers column including indexing number(61), article names(62), highest purchasing price(64b), a sellers column including lowest selling price(65b), and items list including market conditions. The customers and sellers can multiply access to the web page and register their wanting price on the basis of the information provided by the electronic trade system and modify their wanting price, if needed. Accordingly, the sellers and costumers can trade in sufficiently compromised conditions.
