APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STUDYING FOUR ARITHMETICAL OPERATIONS IN TV

PURPOSE: An apparatus for studying four arithmetical operations in a TV is to change a random number generated from an RNG(random number generator) into any variable number, thereby providing an optional arithmetical problems. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for studying the four arithmetical operations in a TV comprises an RNG(10) for generating a random number so as to allow a user to study the four arithmetical operations using TV, and a TV micro-computer(20) which changes a random number generated from the RNG into a variable number for the four arithmetical operations at every optional time interval and compares a user's answer inputted through a remote control receiving part(1) with a correct answer and then displays the result. The TV micro-computer comprises a problem generating part, a first memory(22) for storing the user's answer input through the remote control receiving part, a system controlling part for calculating a correct answer for a generated problem and comparing the user's answer with the correct answer, a second memory(24) for storing the correct answer.
