PURPOSE: A novel bio-material named antoflavan obtained from the skin of Pinus maritima removes noxious element in a human body and helps resistance against damage caused by blood vessel, skin injury, inflammation or free radical and also removes pain and inflammation by stabilizing collagen of skin cell layer. CONSTITUTION: A preparing method of antoflavin composition comprises the following steps of: harvesting 20-30 year old Pinus maritima; obtaining the skin of Pinus maritima by using roll cutting then drying with hot wind at 50-60C in Dry-oven to reduce the water content to less than 7 %; grinding the dried material into powder by using ball mixer; adding ethanol of 96 % in ground material and extracting; distilling the extracted solvent by using vacuum condenser; absorbing the condensed solution by using vacuum then isolating; filtering with sodium chloride; extracting the solution five times by using ethylacetate then vacuum condensed; absorbing the condensed solution into ethanol then filtering; vacuum drying at the temperature of minus 20C. The material prepared is puckery, bright yellowish brown powder and can be melt in ethanol and acetone and can not be melt in benzene, chloroform and ether, and absorbs 256 plus or minus 280 nm of UV spectrum.
