摘要

PURPOSE: A nickel-alumina catalyst is provided which shows excellent activity and stability in a modification reaction of carbon dioxide by methane since formation of coke on the catalyst is prevented. In addition, a method for preparing the nickel-alumina catalyst and a method for modifying carbon dioxide by methane using the nickel-alumina catalyst are provided. CONSTITUTION: A nickel-alumina catalyst is prepared from the method characterized by the following steps: a step of adding nitrate, sulfate, acetate and chloride of nickel and alumina respectively to water and adjusting pH of the solution to form a precipitate; a step of calcining the precipitate formed in the previous step at temperatures of 850 to 1000C; and a step of reducing the calcined pre-catalyst at a temperature of 850C or higher. In addition, the method for modifying carbon dioxide by methane comprises reacting methane with carbon dioxide in the presence of the nickel-alumina catalyst at temperatures of 750 to 1000C.
