PURPOSE: An oxygen consumption rate measurement method of organism and optimum oxygen concentration supply system are provided, which are characterized in that the method and the system are automatic, and that non-oxygen consumption rate is applied to supply optimum oxygen concentration. CONSTITUTION: A dissolved oxygen sensor(120) measures dissolved oxygen concentration of a water tank(110) as electric signal. The measured electric signal is provided to a dissolved oxygen measuring instrument(130). In the dissolved oxygen measuring instrument(13), the electric signal is converted into dissolved oxygen concentration. Dissolved oxygen concentration is converted into voltaic signal, and voltaic signal is provided to a calculation part(130). The calculation part(130) converts voltaic signal into non-oxygen consumption rate. A display part(150) displays non-oxygen consumption rate. Non-oxygen consumption rate is basis for supplying of optimum oxygen concentration.
