FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying computer tomography examination when the head is set at an angle of 70 deg and then turned to the side to be studied so that sagittal plane of the head and sagittal plane of the trunk make an angle of 90 deg, and the chin is turned towards nipple line on the side under study in pressing it against the chest. The sagittal plane of the head makes an angle of 70 deg with desk bed plane opened in cranial direction. The plane is also set in parallel relation to scanning gentry plane, the latter being deflected cranially at an angle of 90 deg + (18 deg - 20 deg).
