Cross-flow test probe for drains or sewers with axial cross flow

A test probe (3) has one or more axial flow channels (4), causing foul water or sewerage to flow through the probe. Fitting a cap (5) on the front and rear ends of the probe causes the sewerage flow resistance against the probe to vary, in order to effect the sewerage cross-flow corresponding to the design of the probe that is installed. This means that at any time the test probe can be used in its optimum test range.
