Wind belt is formed in, before or behind outer wall-facade of building with horizontal channel or channel-type space connected with outer air via apertures, being thereby ventilated by wind
The channel or channel-type space (1) has outer apertures (2) and inner apertures (3). If the building is flowed through by wind pressure (4), outer air on the windward side is pressed (5) into the channel so that it can be horizontally distributed over the facade or around the building. The wind suction (10) on the lee side sucks the air outwards from the channel. In areas with excess pressure in the channel, the air is pressed into the building (6), whereas in areas with below atmospheric pressure in the channel, the air is sucked (8) out of the building.
