The arrangement has a measurement device on a conveyor belt, an analysis and assessment device and a delivery arrangement with several output drives that remove the vegetables from the belt when selected according to the assessment. Each output drive is arranged at such an angle to the transport direction (T) that, for a given ratio of output drive speed to transport drive speed, a slider (20,21) in the output drive performs practically no movement relative to the vegetable stalk (2) in the transport direction.
