The device is for bending tubes (16) between a tension piece (10) and a bending plate (13). The tension piece and the bending plate revolve around a bending axis (11), with the tube accommodated in a tension piece groove and/or in a bending plate peripheral groove. The grooves in both cases have a semi-oval cross-section. The bending plate is provided with a servo motor to rotate it around the bending axis. For the tension piece an elbow lever arrangement and a pneumatic drive are provided and in front of the tension piece on one side is a slide rail (7), which also has an elbow lever arrangement and a pneumatic drive.
