The seat is attached to the structure(4) of the vehicle by front(5) and rear(6) feet connected to the seat's structure. At least one coupling(16) is connected by its respective ends to one of the front and to one of the rear feet, forming a four-member linkage. A bolt(12) is fitted to one section of the linkage. A fork(20) fitted to the linkage accommodates the bolt in the in-use position, and with changing to the not in-use position is movable relative to the bolt. In the in-use position the fork is at least partially open to the rear.
