The generating station has a water collection building of foundation block (5) and guide surfaces (8,a), rake, and ceiling (5a). This contains a sand collection chamber (9). The sand is fed to a discharge tube (10), pref. by a slider (11), via a slider arm (1a), which is driven by a pivot arm (4d). A pressure well duct (6,7) projects over the sand collection chamber to such an extent, to give the chamber the required size for settling of the sand. Rake bars are of folded steel or plastic.
