The method is for the ignition of explosive material using fluid jet cutting and is based on which thermo-dynamic, kinematic and dynamic conditions lead to ignition of explosive material and which are stored in fluid carrier media for directed transport or which can be emitted. The positioning and ignition of explosive material portions occur timewise and locally in such a manner that always at the time of pressure minimum after previous detonation new explosive material is brought to the location of its energy development and ignited.
