Parabolic lamp arrangement, especially of parabolic aluminized reflector type

A parabolic reflector lamp arrangement contains: a reflector (20) which has an inner chamber (42) with an enlarged first end (24) and a tapered second end (26) with an opening; and a light source (44) which is incorporated in the reactor chamber and is mounted on the reflector at the second end. The light source has a seal (48) with a reduced dimension at the one end and two conductors (54,56) which extend from the seal outwards. The seal has a closing piece (70) to fasten the light source to the reflector. The closing piece has first and second openings (108,110) which accommodate the two conductors and has a slot (84) which is formed on a surface directed towards the light source. The slot incorporates an axial section of the seal for stabilizing the light source in the reflector.
