The pawl (6) and catch (16) are excentric to the motor-powered axes (7,17) on which they (6,16) are mounted and the two fixer ends of the closer link forming the counterpart locking component are similarly excentric to the axes of their supporting bearers. Both bearers (5,17) are fitted with synchro-rotated gears (6,19) of the same pitch circle and run off a common drive. Both the bearers (5,17) can be moved through their dead center point onto endstops and a spring (25) on axis (7) uses its respective legs to move the catches open (6,16) and engage the main pawl (15) in the locking direction. One of the two bearers (5,17) is powered as against the second which is run by a coupling drive system composed of worm and associated worm gears.
