Device at fork lift trucks and the like of the kind that includes a cabin (1) that in relation to the truck frame can be tilted backwards in order to make it easier for the driver to see forks and load at high lifts. The tilting of the cabin is done hydraulically. The cabin is by means of the same hydraulic piston/cylinder means (2) after the release of a service lock tiltable further from the uppermost working position to a position closely before the balance position for the cabin with the full stroke of the hydraulic means (2). From this position the cabin may manually be transferred further rearward so that the inner of the truck becomes easily accessible. This is achieved by the piston rod (3) being connected to the cabin via a pull rod (4) inserted into the hollow piston rod (3) and slidable out of this until a stop in the shape of a stop disc (13) in its inner end abuts against stop means (7) in the piston rod (3).
