Power transmission unit esp. for motor vehicle with drive unit e.g. IC engine with variable speed gearbox and fluid coupling e.g. Foettinger coupling or hydrodynamic torque
The power transmission unit (1) includes a pump impeller (12) connected on drive side and turbine wheel (13) connected on the driven side also in certain cases a vaned impeller arranged between the pump impeller and the turbine wheel. The housing (9) by means of at least one isolating coupling arranged in the housing, can be uncoupled from the drive unit. The power transmission unit is designed so that an electric machine, at least consisting of stator and rotor is connected rotationally determined.
