Block (1) is moved into cutting position on table (5) where beams and gantries (4,11) support electrically heated tool such as wire. Gantries are able to move longitudinally and vertically (X,Y) and tool trajectory is planned to cut profile of two adjacent shapes in one movement. At end of stroke, tool is received into recess in supporting table (5).
