The car security system has a number of command calculators (10,20,30) connected on a communication network (NW). The communications network drives drivers (12,22). There is a security mechanism (S) in one of the driver positions and commanded by a surveillance unit (24). The surveillance unit can be activated by another command calculator using the communications network.
