(57) Abstract The architecture Drive the ultrasonic phased array. This architecture includes the consecutive amplifier (38) which generates the individual Drive signal. As for the number of amplifiers to be fewer than as much as a transducer element (32) quantity inside array (31) the integrated circuit multiplexer tips/chips (34) are jointed to each transducer and all amplifiers. The controller (40) giving the 1st control signal to the amplifier (38), those individual Drive signals are generated. The controller (40) furthermore gives the 2nd control signal to each multiplexer tip/chip (34) and the multiplexer tip/chip passes through one where the Drive signal is specified to one transducer element (32) which is chosen due to these signals. As a result the ultrasonic beam which converges on the target tonnage which is chosen is formed.
