PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put a system back to its original state by automatically deleting application which is installed at the end of the system by connecting an auxiliary storage device stored with an application execution environment generating program by a personal computer in which an OS is already installed. ;SOLUTION: The auxiliary storage device 2 stored with the application execution environment generating program 2a is connected to the OS(operating system)-installed personal computer 1, which is actuated by the auxiliary storage device 2. Consequently, a loader part in the application execution environment generating program 2a operates reads the OS, installed in the personal computer 1, out to the auxiliary storage device 2. Then system facility information before installation which is saved in a saving area is compared with system facility information after installation to delete application and restore system settings.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
