PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a geographical information system with local resident situation grasping function capable of grasping various situations as to origins of telephone call at a glance on the map screen of the system. ;SOLUTION: This system is system constituted by connecting a geographical information system 1 and a CTI(computer telephony integration) 2 with a LAN (local area network). The CTI 2 is a system in which connection are made to telephone sets 3 and facsimiles 4 of respective homes via a network and, in order to perform urgent communication of, for example, a local natural calamity and an accident or the like, the influence range is specified by using geographical information system in which area digital topographical maps are stored and telephone calls are made by using telephone numbers of residents within the influence range and urgent matters are transmitted to the residents with voices or facsimiles or electronic data and an operator can know situations of the resident by displaying results of returned push signals on buildings of the residents in different colors.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
