(57) Abstract The tonnage of the material which is included inside the bank (20) between the calender roll (10 and 12) of the deck it is decided by digital image technology. By the fact that the digital image (40) which with camera means (30) is obtained is manipulated, causes the image of the color tone where the material inside the bank is bright vis-a-vis the background of the dark color tone. As for the image of the bright color tone next, it is split into the control field which is correlated to the individual field of the bank which is supplied by the separate supply line (F1 and F2). The tonnage of the material of the bank and it is possible by adjusting the supply tonnage on the basis of the information which can through the digital image, to control distribution.
