PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition for a powder coating material which can give a coating membrane that is cured at a low temperature to get excellent in mechanical performances, water resistance, and resistance to blister; and the powder coating material.;SOLUTION: The polyester resin composition for a powder coating material is a polyester resin composition for the powder coating material which contains a hydroxyalkylamide compound as the curing agent, comprising (A) a polyester resin composed of (1) the acid component mainly including an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and (2) the alcohol component mainly including an aliphatic and/or alicyclic glycol, (B) an epoxy compound subsequently added, and (C) a multilayered polymer particle having at least one layer of rubber polymer. The powder coating material comprises a hydroxyalkylamide curing agent and various coating materials added to the polyester resin composition, wherein said multilayered polymer particle having at least one layer of rubber polymer may be added into the powder coating material instead of being beforehand contained in the polyester resin composition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
