PURPOSE: To provide a security lock having adjusting structure of making an dead bolt engaging hole correspond to a dead bolt by the fine adjustment of the hanging angle of an arm without tilt-holding the arm. ;CONSTITUTION: A security lock is provided with a fitting base 1 to be fixed to the depth W1 of a door frame W, and an arm 2 with the upper end 2b engaged with the fitting base 1 so as to be overlapped. The fitting base 1 has a dead bolt engaging recessed part lb, and the arm 2 has a dead bolt engaging hole 2a at the lower part. A dead bolt B enters the dead bolt engaging hole 2a to open a door D, and the lower part of the arm 2 is pulled out onto the outdoor side in the depth direction. An adjusting means 5 comes in contact with the arm 2 from the indoor side in the depth direction so as to adjust the hanging angle of the arm 2. Since the adjusting means 5 can adjust from the vertical direction to the depth, the arm 2 can be adjusted without being tilt-held so as to make the dead bolt engaging hole 2a correspond to the dead bolt B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
