PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transport freight and passengers among an unspecified majority of regions and to also improve the operation profitability of transportation companies.;SOLUTION: This service system transporting freight and passengers among the unspecified majority of regions in accordance with users' transportation reservations, is provided with a transporting means 1 transporting freight and passengers among the regions, a communicating means 3 receiving the departure places of freight and passengers, their destinations and desired dates and hours of users, and a freight and passengers transportation managing means 2 which provides at least the means 1 applied between regions, required time and transportation fare to a user on the basis of information on the means 1 when the means 3 receives a transportation reservation from the user and also asks the user for the confirmation of a transportation means and the transportation fare, and when the means 2 can obtain the confirmation of the transportation means and the transportation fare from the user, the means 2 makes arrangements for the means 1 at the departure place and on the desired date and hour of the user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
