PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lappet for a loom, capable of utilizing the advantage of the use of a round pipe or round rod as a supporter for the lappet and capable of being simply attached to the supporter. ;SOLUTION: This lappet 12 is provided with a lappet main body 16 rotatably supported on a support bracket 15 through a support shaft 22, and a snell wire 11 is fixed to the tip of the lappet main body 16. The support bracket 15 is cast from a metal or molded from a resin in a shape where a fiting hole 17 having a shape corresponding to the cross section of a supporter 14 is formed in an approximately square columnar block. The fitting hole 17 is formed so that a position-determining surface 17a corresponding to the flat surface 14a of the supporter 14 is vertically extended. A screw hole 18 is formed in the support bracket 15 on the side faced to the position-determining surface 17a, and the support bracket is fixed to the supporter 14 through a screw 19 threadedly engaged with the screw hole 18. The lappet main body 16 is disposed at a refuse position so that the backward rotation of the lappet main body is controlled in a state that the rear lower surface of the lappet main body 16 is engaged with an engaging surface 15b formed on the rear upper part of the support bracket 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
