PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the nuclides of a short half-life for the medical inspection in the positron emission type computer tomography(CT) and the system therefor.;SOLUTION: The nuclide (18F) 13 is produced by means of the cyclotron 2 in the hospital facilities 1. Additionally, inspection devices 5 and the synthesis devices 3, 4 are installed in combination in the hospital facilities. The nuclide 13 is used as a starting material for synthesizing the chemical for the positron emission type CT in the synthesis device 4 and the chemical is transferred to the inspection devices 5. The excessive nuclides 13 may be supplied to other hospital facilities 14, 25. Chemical-synthesizing devices 26, 27 are arranged in the hospital facilities 14, 25 the chemicals for the positron emission type CT are synthesized by means of individual synthesizers. The process time for these chemicals are calculated based on the half-life period of these nuclides and controlled and are served for the positron emission type CT in individual hospital facilities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
