PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the catching and landing of hooked fish by moving a catching bag from the fishing rod to the hooked fish, taking the fish from the front opening into the bag and landing the fish out of water and to provide an apparatus for the method. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus for the catching and landing of hooked fish is provided with a catching bag made of a sheet cloth and having a large- diameter opening constantly opened to a prescribed large diameter at an end and a small-diameter opening opened to a prescribed small diameter at the other end. The bag sinks into water directing the large-diameter opening ahead of the small-diameter opening. A pull-up string having a prescribed length is bonded to or near the opening edge of the catching bag.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
