PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrolytic corrosion preventive structure for a propulsion device for a marine vessel, providing a permanent and low-cost electrolytic corrosion preventing effect by reducing potential difference generated to a rotating body part and a stationary body part when driving a prime mover without needing high-cost coating for the rotating part and the like. ;SOLUTION: On part or all of the bearings which are a bearing 2 for supporting a thrust shaft 1 to which the power of a prime mover is transmitted, bearings 11A, 11B of a gear mechanism for transmitting the rotation of the thrust shaft 1 to a propeller shaft 6, and bearings 10A, 10B for supporting the propeller shaft 6, conductive grease is filled in a cavity part 13 formed between the opposed faces of the rotating side outer peripheral surface and stationary side inner peripheral surface to make the rotating side and stationary side of the bearing electrically conductive, and a consumable anode 20 is mounted outside of the propulsion device. Potential difference generated to the rotating body part and stationary body part when driving the propulsion device is thereby reduced to prevent the generation of an electrolytic corrosion phenomenon.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
